Thanks for the names even when this was recently asked. I was seriously thinking on change my question to “is that picture of Dr.Bill really a photoshop?”
Don’t you have a better question, something you’re just dying to know? Do you know how many times this has been asked? Could you enlighten me as to why so many people ask this question?
My name is Stephen. What’s your last name and birthday?
I was being sincere. I really want to know why someone would ask for personal information like that. At other times the question has included “where do you live?”. How did you perceive my response as rude? It was just straight forward.
People are curious. At least when I’ve asked questions like that, that has been my motive. I’m not going to “use” the information. It’s just for fun; it’s just something I’m curious to know. I’d be willing to bet that’s the same reason this person posted this question.
I would like to know where everyone lives, if they are single, what they look like, etc. I don’t ask because that stuff is private and I don’t want to pry.
This question has been asked very recently, but with so many new users, can’t we just play along for a bit? If you don’t want to answer, you don’t have to.
Well, good for you. Not everyone is you. If you don’t want to answer this question, then don’t. No one has to share anything they don’t want to. But plenty of people did. Including me.
You guys are still taking my comments as rude but that is not what I intended. I’m sorry if I offended anyone. People should show a little restraint before criticizing and that applies to me as well.
There was nothing sarcastic about it. I really wanted to know the answers to those questions. It may have been slightly off topic but not sarcastic. Also, to show my sincerity, I answered the question that was asked.
I guess it was the word “enlighten” that made me think that. From what I’ve seen, 9 times out of 10, “enlighten” is used sarcastically as in “could you please enlighten me with your supposed superior knowledge, etc.” in other words, it’s usually meant as a jab. I don’t think anyone would’ve said anything if you had said “just curious, why did you want to ask this question even though it’s been done many times?”.
I promised myself to never give my real name here in case I crossed paths with a stalker. My recent horoscope told me to live dangerously, though, so I’m throwing caution to the wind.
Hmmmm. You said here in response to the question of what you wanted your name to be: “I was hoping for Aloisius Bonaparte McGillicuddy but it didn’t work out that way.” I’m on to you, Bluefreedom, I’m on to you.
@Trustinglife. Fast forward to now. After a lot of diligence and some unscrupulous behavior on my part after a month of trying (coincidentally when that other response of mine was posted in that question you linked), I finally found a way to make that name my own. You stalked the truth and found it here. Well done.
@Trustinglife. Sometimes I’m just too sarcastic for my own good. I need someone to set me straight every once in a while. Thanks for helping me out. =)
