@EmilyBearclaw @dynamicduo I agree with you both about flavored roasts. If I want to put a flavor in my coffee, I usually do it in the brew or press process (Mocha comes to mind mmmmmmmmm!)
Speaking of mocha, I love chocolate and I love coffee. Although a Mocha grande is a good way to get both flavors, I also like a mocha java blend of beans.
btw, The term Mocha is taken from the original name of the Yemeni port Al Mukha where the original Mocha coffees were traded. The Dutch first blended these bright, winy-tasting beans with the deeper toned Java varietal for a blend that Europeans highly regarded in the 18th century. Although we now associate “mocha” with chocolate, when cocoa was first introduced to Europe, coffee connoisseurs compared its taste to the Arabian Mocha coffee
