What in particular makes you a coffee hound? Do you use a special brand or prepare it in some exotic way?

I love Maxwell House, my husband will drink anything, and my son abstains. I’m wondering if you Flutherites have a preference or if you refuse to drink certain brands or can you not tell the difference. What’s YOUR brand and what makes it better than another?

I’m a big fan of Peet’s Coffee & Tea;. Very full-bodied and flavorful. If I buy beans from this company, I can drink it black and it’s tasty; most other bean sources, I have to mix in cream and sugar.

Of course, I’ll drink ANY coffee if there is a little cream and sugar around.

I buy the cheapest coffee I can find. I have tried different, exotic or expensive brands and I simply can’t tell the difference.

Occasionally I put vanilla flavoring in mine, but for the most part, I just drink it black.

I love any brand of coffee. Straight up…black. I head for the coffee pot first thing in the morning. It gets my day started for sure. And nothing tops off a good meal at a nice restaurant than a good cup of coffee.

I drink Peet’s, Starbucks, Whole Foods 365 brand, and i love Illy for special occasions. I use my french press, and i’m eyeing an aeropress. looks really interesting.

i like cream in my coffee, no sugar. i don’t particularly care for the fruity non-coffee coffee drinks at Starbucks and the like. I prefer americanos or straight espresso shots, when the matter comes to espresso.

I am not very picky about brand. If it tastes good, I will drink it. I have a Keurig coffee maker (single cup maker) so I’m limited to the brands that make Keurig compatible cups.
I usually stick with a breakfast blend, french vanilla, or hazelnut.

@eponymoushipster yes, that’s one brand I buy. Please don’t tell me there is something bad in there….

I add a spoon of Cafe Bustelo espresso to my coffee before French pressing.
