I have a new GE 32” gas stove and oven; c.$900. It has two medium burners, one large and one small. When I am trying to get a large pot of soup to reach the boil, for example, I put it on the large burner. But I have to watch pot like a hawk. Then I move it to the small burner, (and use a heat infuser) in order to keep a low simmer going. I have burnt the bottoms of several pots due to the efficiency of the gas. No idea of the BTUs but I can send you the model # privately if you like. i did a lot of research online and read dozens of opinions at epinions, etc. from real people (I think).
My sis, who is the mad cook in the family, has a new 32” Garland gas stove, which she LOVES. I can get that model number also. I won’t tell you what she paid for it unless you are sitting down w. the smelling salts at the ready.
We also use the oven in a good toaster oven alot.
PS. Extra charge to haul old stove away, and you will probably need the gas. co. to unhook and rehook the gas. I was able to find a plumber who could do it all, but most don’t.
