I got 36…missed a handful of favorites that I just didn’t think of (html, center, br..)

32…most of the ones I missed I don’t use…either that means one only needs a small subset, or my markup is missing a bunch of structure. Definitely some I’d not heard of, including base.

42 (I cheated and remembered base from here, so I guess 41)

Most conspicuous ones I missed were all the table tags (table, td, tr, th, etc) whoops.

Never heard of base, bdo, del, dfn, ins, or tt.

base seems like it could really be useful, surprised I hadn’t heard of it. Anybody aware of any browser support issues?

I named 50, but I really should have remembered more, like H1 through H6 (duh), HR, SMALL, SELECT, OPTION, OPTGROUP, NOSCRIPT, and NOFRAMES. Oy vey. BDO and KBD were new ones to me.

@funkdaddy, BASE used to be really common. It’s supported by every browser, AFAIK. It’s usually used to set the base href for a page.

I had 47 (t1–6 really helped a lot :P). Most I forgot I didn’t mind too much forgetting, however, I shoud’ve named abbr, code, pre, most form elements (form input button option select textarea fieldset label legend) and well, I knew font and center existed but I never use them (XHTML).
