What can the pre from sprint do that the iPhone can't?

That’s nonsense. If they had a product that could do things the iphone can’t, they would be shouting it from the rooftops… right?

Point for point comparison between the Palm Pre, current iPhone, and rumored, next-gen iPhone.

One point that I’ll make is that I expect a number of the OS-based features rumored in the next-gen iPhone will also find their way into the next OS update for the current iPhone. Like copy & paste… there’s nothing hardware specific about that functionality… and I think it will arrive for current iPhone users with the next major iPhone OS release.

At the moment copy and paste.

Have a locked screen that tells you something more interesting than just the time.

it can multi task better. But it’s never gonna be as simple, smooth, and nice as the iPhone!

I understand it can run more than one application at the same time. On my iPhone, I can’t do chat and listen to the Last.FM application at the same time. You can do this on the Pre, I believe. I have only used a demo model of the Pre in a Sprint store though.
