You can always pay cash. Taxis MUCH prefer you to pay cash. They get a bit eaten away with a credit card and dislike having to pay that percentage to the card company. They would reallllly prefer cash.

the cabs have real human drivers in them. :)

It never even occurred to me to pay for a cab with anything besides cash!
