Last week, Clorox just launched their first new line in 20 years—called Green Works. The ingredients are all natural—if you read the list of ingredients, it’s actually all things you can pronounce and are familiar with: coconut oils, lemon juice, etc. No nasty stuff hiding in there. Environmental friends of mine have looked into this thoroughly and the product is environmentally sound (just the Green Works line of household cleaning products, though. there’s nothing environmentally sound about actual bleach—so the other Clorox products still have some enviro problems). The Green Works products actually cost the same as the other mainstream products, which I think is really going to change the market, since currently most of the eco-friendly products cost a lot more than the dirty ones.
