What is a good microbrew or craft beer to get in Pittsburgh?

Wow—really seems to not be a lot of Pittsburghers on here =)

Anyway, just about anything from CBW is good. There’s not a lot of other real local craft brews here that I know of—the town is so rooted in the blue collar history that the typical beers I see at parties and such still are Yuengling or western fancy beers. (Like Fat Tire)

I’m from the Pittsburgh area, White Oak actually. I’ve moved away years ago but visit frequently because my dad still lives there. I don’t know about micro brews, we always drank Iron City or Rolling Rock from Latrobe.

I now live in a small city way north of Pgh. and they make a really great beer called Straub that is available in Pgh.
