You don’t. But ideally you make a decision based on what you are feeling to be right and good. It may turn out to be a good decision, it may turn out to be bad. The beauty of life is that you can always stop and say ‘Whoa. I need to change my course.’
Time lets you know whether the decision was wise. But one can’t allow fear of error to paralyze oneself. The reality is mistakes are how we grow and learn.
So, you make the best decision you can at the time. If circumstances change or it does not run out as you hoped, you change course.
You do not look in the rearview mirror and beat yourself up about the past.
Choices are never assured, and neither are the consequences. You just have to do what you will in the moment. And remember, you can always change your mind.
What you choose, is what you want, at that time. As wants change, so will the goal or direction chosen. Don’t make important life-changing decisions if unsure of what you want….stay flexible until that picture clears. See ya….........wtf
