@La_chica_gomela—HA HA! I am 29 : ) Funny how on fluther you won’t always know such things. I would prefer to go somewhere with students around my age if possible. Also, I have to say that I just spent two weeks in Colombia and had a great time and I’d like to go back. The country has a bad reputation, and for good reason. But, I’d have to say that if you go and stick to touristy areas, I have not heard of anyone having any problems. I did not feel any less safe in Colombia than I did in any other part of Latin America, and I’ve spent 5 months or more traveling through various countries in Central and South America. Actually, hate to say it but Costa Rica was one of the worst because it felt like everyone was trying to rob me!
Ideally I would go to language school in Argentina. I’ve been looking at Buenos Aires but it’s expensive. Any other nice towns in Argentina that are more affordable where I could seek out a school? Coastal would be amazing….........
