The scientific portion of me recognizes and highly values that there have been absolutely no known demonstrated mental telepathic skills as you are describing, in fact in every single test they’ve done, the subjects score no more than random chance.
The portion of me that basis my knowledge on my experience also supports the thought that there are no such things as telepathic speaking or such other ESP abilities.
The rational portion of me also acknowledges that there is much scientific literature studying our brains and how it works, and it has observed that our brains love finding coincidences and patterns (such as seeing faces in the dark) and deeming them as important when they are really nothing beyond improbable.
I’ve had an experience you describe. I was thinking of my mom, so I picked up the phone to call her and started dialing. After a few beeps I heard a voice on the line and no dial tone, turns out it was my mom who had called me, but I had picked up before the phone registered! I could interpret this event as being mysterious or somehow telepathic, but in reality this has only occured once versus the thousands of times I’ve ever used the phone. My brain recognizes this as unique and may support a theory (in this case, of telepathic abilities) that really doesn’t exist.
