“Great Question” (0points)

For my “staycation” I’m looking for some classic sci-fi books with a film noir bent. No cyber-punk, just something with a cool idea. Whar’s the next “Blade Runner?” Suggestions are all appreciated!

I liked Enders Game a lot. Check it out. Kind of slow at the beginning but very interesting when you start reading it.

Left Hand of Darkness is pretty darn good. So is Anathem.

Brave New World by Alfred Huxley? I think that’s his name. Depressing but brilliant.

@efritz: It’s Aldous Huxley.

Orwell’s 1984 and Animal Farm
Isaac Asimov’s Foundation Series
Works of Robert Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke (2001)
