How can I remove a pedal from my bike when the bolt is stripped?

July 29th, 2009I have a pedal whose bolt is stripped, but is screwed in all the way. Recently the plastic part of the pedal cracked and when trying to replaced it with a new one I was unable to unscrew it from the bike. Already broken one wrench, so I was wondering if there are any tricks or any technique to remove it?
