How does PhotoSwap work?

Specifically, when using PhotoSwap in the iPhone I take a photo and send it out. Then I receive a random photo. Does the person I received the photo from receive my photo or does it go to a second person?

“Use PhotoSwap and send your picture immediately to another randomly-selected PhotoSwap user. In exchange you’ll get his.”
