Relax to?
Grey – Ani DiFranco
Final Blu – Sergio Altamura (though this does ramp up significantly towards the end, it is so well composed in terms of flow… well, just watch it.)
Kokomo – The Beach Boys (go ahead and laugh. I friggin’ love this song.)
Falling Down – Muse (might be out of your musical taste, but hell. Check it out.)
Ashes in the Sea – Antoine Dufour (perhaps not relaxing, in the conventional sense. But a very nice piece.)
The Blower’s Daugher – Damien Rice (Sad song. Will relax you, though.)
9 Crimes – Damien Rice (If you liked the song above, you will like this one.)
And All That Could Have Been – Nine Inch Nails (Quite possibly one of my favorite songs of all time. Excellent usage of Requiem for a Dream. If you liked that, you will like this and this)
Nights in White Satin – The Moody Blues (Can’t go wrong with TMB. Isn’t their most calming of songs, but whenever this song comes on, I sway back and forth like a moron.)
Mother – Cover of Christina Aguilera… which is a cover of John Lennon (This guy has some pipes on him. Wow. Just close your eyes. As for Christina Aguilera, yes. Don’t shoot me. It’s probably the only song of her’s I liked. I was working at Starbucks years ago when her rendition came on. I stopped what I was doing and perked my ears up. Thinking of my shit state of life that I was in at the time, I got all emotional and stuff. Her version can be found here. I think she did the original justice.)
