It’s surprising. It’s almost like cops aren’t afraid of people who don’t have guns.

Police are and have been of the same mentality in every State, in every country, and for a very, very long time. This is not a surprise; it is quotidian knowledge.

One word: Arizona.

A lot of it is the mentality that they are above the law and not enough prosecution when cops break the law. I think we would all be shocked by the number of cops doing drugs or stealing drugs to sell. These are swept under the rug as voluntary terminations or termination for other lesser reasons, because of course we just can’t send a cop to jail or prison with our “common criminals” because they would be torn apart. Nevermind that they are criminals. And of course, it was the stress of the job that turned them bad, not the mere opportunity to feed their greed. Oops, I think I went a bit off topic…sorry about the rant, @kevbo. See ya….Gary aka wtf

Phoenix? Isn’t that where nut-job “Sheriff Joe” is? If so, nothing the police do would surprise me.
