Portrait on TV sitcom Will & Grace?

On the (now off air) NBC sitcom Will & Grace, there was a collection of paintings that were hung around Will’s apartment. They were portraits of a man who had a striking resemblance to Will. All I know about them, is that the art director for the show looked around for male themed art & found these & had copies made for the show. Does anyone know who the artist is & where (if possible) I can buy either the originals or copies of these paintings? Thank you for any help you can provide, for I have been trying to find these since episode 1 aired back in 1998.

The artist of the original is described as a friend of a friend of production designer Glenda Rovello. Your best bet might be to contact her.

Got a hold of Glenda Rovello who sent me to another person who was the set designer for the show. Here is what the set designer told me, the artwork was copied from an original from a friend who got it at a flea market. It is an unsigned painting. She said she will get back to me when she can figure out how to get another copy.

It resembles an artist who passed away in 1985, as self portrait.
He lived in New York, so if that is where it was found it really looks like him.
The family has a photo, almost the same.

The artist is Emlen Pope Etting
