Blocks in a mile?
Ten blocks on average equals a mile in my home state, and I think that is about normal for most Midwestern towns.
My best friend lives in Lincoln. I asked her if she knew the answer or where to find it. She said seven, but wasn’t positive.

I count about 14 blocks to a mile, in the central business district.
