Hate Facebook, but love WordTwist. Help?

“Great Question” (0points)

I’ve googled and binged and shmoogled and zinged, but I can’t find something online that’s free, fun and user-friendly. Any of you find a scrabble, boggle or the like (but especially wordtwist) that you don’t have to dowload, and doesn’t have an expiration date (hate those trial games from Yahoo).

Thanks.

Sounds like you should go to Pogo.com and check out Texttwist.

I did this @andrew and it said this, “No games matched your search for texttwist.”

Ack, you’re right. Texttwist is on zone.com (which you can only play if you have a PC).

Pogo has WordWhomp.

freerice.com
I’m addicted and after a written inquiry, they responded they are open to and interested in adding Latin to the Languages vocabulary.

Text twist has one of those annoying trial things which I’ve been avoiding. But thanks a lot guys – I’m trying out word romp now…

The App store has lots of great word games, some free and others costing only a buck or two. Some is the free ones which I’ve enjoyed are:

SQUONK

WORD PLAY ONLINE

MAGIC WORDS ARCANUM LITE

LOST WORSS LITE

I don’t have that kind of a cell phone. I am looking for online PC free games. Thanks!

PopCap.com has Bookworm, but that’s a different type of “word” game.

I second Word Whomp! Loads of fun (for everyone!).

@Zen IIRC, you can play texttwist on zone.com for free, with no trial. At least, you could when I worked there.

@andrew Thanks so much! Texttwist is indeed free and very user friendly. Now if only they’d have it in the 7 letter version…
