OK – cooked and pureed
Chicken, rice, potatoes, carrots, milk egg, celery, cornmeal, flour, cheese, fish, peanut butter, broccli, lamb small amounts of garlic, apples

Not OK:
chocolate, raisins, grapes, onions or avocados.

avoid fatty foods with little nutrition such as hot dogs, bacon, sasuage, white bread

Never feed your puppies a raw-food diet, since it will be too rich for them.

Yes. All of them. Dogs are carnivores – not little people substitutes.

We feed raw from the time they are weaned, here is a website that explains it all:

All of the no’s @YARNLADY says are correct and you can add macadamia nuts, but truthfully my dogs have eaten all of those items but in very small quantities. I often cook with macadamia oil, onions and sometimes raisins and the dogs get the leftovers.

You have to think about this like my friends dad who picks mushrooms. I once asked him how he knows which ones are poisonous? His reply was that he only picks the ones he KNOWS are safe. Getting a list of no-no’s is not as good as sticking to the list of the ones you know are safe. I would have worded your question in the reverse. “What veggies and fruits are completely safe to feed my 3 year old puppies?” So you can get a list of safe foods.

@JLeslie There is a saying among mushroom hunters. There are old mushroom hunters and there are bold mushroom hunters, but there are NO old, bold mushroom hunters.

Let me second @rooeytoo on the BARF diet. My dogs thrive on it!
