Probably not, but the evidence isn’t completely in. So far there is no empirical study to show that pheromones work in people the way they do in some animals. We do have a vomeronasal organ, and we do produce pheromones, and they have an effect: e.g. the syndrome where women who share the same dorm will eventually synchronize their menstrual periods. That seems to be a pheromonal phenomenon.
But as to attraction, I think maybe not, because if it worked, every perfume company would have a winning product, and there would be a lot more people falling in love.
