Here is a comparison of Honda’s mid sized trail bikes. There are two smaller bikes but they are semi-automatic (no clutch) and they are for smaller or younger kids. They have two larger sizes (250cc and 450cc) but I would not suggest the bigger one until you’ve gained experience. The seat height on the four shown varies from about 29” to 34”. Go to a dealer and sit on the bikes to see what you are comfortable with. If you know you will need to keep the same bike for a number of years, go up a notch so you can grow into it and not quickly become discouraged by its lack of size. If there is someplace to rent them, try different sizes. If there are public riding areas, see what the other kids are riding and talk to them about their bikes. Motorcyclists love to talk about equipment and will be glad to share opinions with you (tho, naturally they will show bias to their current bike or brand). At one point I had a 750 street bike, a 500 dual sport and a 175 customized trail bike and even tho the 175 frame was really too small for me, I had a blast with it. Be sure to get a good helmet and protective gear. Ride safely and have fun.
