I'm curious about binaural beats. Do you have any experience with them, and, if so, what do you think?

There is an app in the app store, and it’s free! I’m quite surprised that they actually work!

I tried them once or twice. I used one to help me sleep, did the job the first time, not so much the second time.

Quite a while back, I downloaded some program for binaural beats and several different tracks that were supposed to have varied effects. I got out my nice headphones, put on the “marijuana” track and listened for half-an-hour. At the time, I thought I might have felt a little something, maybe light-headed. Looking back now, I don’t remember feeling much of anything.

I think you can toss this one into the “internet myths” pile.

@drdoombot I’ve read several articles that state tge binaural bears do have an effect on us.

I got the same program as @drdoombot

For some reason that I cannot explain the tracks increased my anxiety levels. I figured I just had to get used to it and tried it several times but each time by the end of the track I was agitated.

I do not know if anyone else has had a reaction like that but I ditched it and gave up.

@XOIIO I’m not arguing with that; I’ve also read that binaural beats can effectively change the wavelengths of your brain activity. However, I’ve yet to read anything about different wavelengths having a discernible effect on the way you’re feeling, your ability to study, etc.
