If you’re talking about a similar look and feel from a design aspect, there’s this Sony Vaio and others. I haven’t really used them, so I couldn’t tell you how close the build quality matches a MBP. They are a little on the pricey side for a Windows machine, but generally less expensive than a MBP.
If you talking about a machine that has excellent build quality, solid hardware, and can take a beating, I can personally vouch for Lenovo. I’ve had a ThinkPad T61 for about two years and it has been a very solid machine. The design of the ThinkPad’s are more ‘business’ oriented (i.e. utilitarian). They can also be a little on the pricey side, but again usually much less expensive than a MBP.
You might also check this MSI. It really comes down to what you want. There are a lot of solid laptop manufacturers out there, and most have different levels of machines varying at cost, build quality, specs, design, etc.
