No he won’t make it. I’ve heard of him since 06. I really can appreciate him. Although he’s not technically a singer, he’s a rapper correct? The reasons he wouldn’t make it here is the USA because struggle here, like true American struggle usually arrives from the Ghetto. I’m from the ghetto, but I’m hopefully going to make it out, so I know what I’m talking about when I reference the term ghetto. Honestly, ghetto people don’t have much hope and are satisfied collectively with their liquor stores and Wal-Mart. That’s the easy living. So when one of them makes it in the music business, they who made it, become heroes, and people here really dig that, they really relate to it. I think because of Dizzee Rascals thick accent it wouldn’t pass a board of record label tycoons. I think he could attract the hipster crowd, but that’s it, I honestly don’t think Black America could take a black British rapper seriously, not yet at least. Arctic Monkeys, who are white, are just a speck in the indie rock world in U.S.A. Again I think it’s the thick accent true English singing. Americans are used to British people singing the American way, an example would be like the Beatles, they have no accent while singing, that’s why in my opinion they did much better in the U.S.A. than in England itself, which is quite strange since they are English themselves. Well statistics and facts is what I’m basing this off. I’d like to hear your opinion on why you think Dizzee Rascal should make it in America?
