I am interested in hanging plants, tall potted plants, and small, vine-like ones. I am looking for an affordable place with nice plants. Thanks!

Ask friends and neighbors for babies and pot them in decent soil. Spider plants, Wandering Jew, Apostle Iris, Night-blooming Cereus come to mind.

I’ve heard good things about Plant’It Earth, and I see people taking away huge purchases from the San Francisco Botanical Garden Plant Sale. The End of Season sale is on November 14th 10 AM – 1 PM, but this might be mostly outdoor plants.
Either way, you should check out the carnivorous plants at Paxton Gate! And Craigslist or street corners are always a good place to find castaways.
