Hi! I am looking for a site where I can upload photos and video for free. Picasa you can only load images, Flickr you can load both, but I am going to have to pay to meet my needs. Is there anything else out there? I know Flickr isn’t all that expensive for a Pro account, buy why pay if I don’t have to?

Are you looking to show them off to the world and a vibrant community? Or just a place to store them?

More a place to share them with family and friends.

Well you could use Dropbox. 2GB limit for free
Photobucket? – 5,000 images? that’s pretty vauge
Flickr is going to be your best bet. It’s just awesome. $25 a year for unlimited isn’t bad, and the 100mb a month limit is suprisingly high for a casual user. (check mine out while you’re there :]

Honestly, I never pay for things unless I need them, so a photo account that costs money might usually be something I wouldn’t consider, but Flickr is worth it. I love that website, and there are so many unbelievable photographs on it, I don’t mind giving 25 bucks to them for a year of basically unlimited space.

@patg7590 Lovely pics Pat :)

I was just playing around with photoshop.com. That is a pretty impressive site! You can link with your picasa and flicker sites, among others!

Also—for videos, check out vimeo.com—they have a weekly upload limit on the free accounts, but they do HD video.
