Is there an applet that will run on startup in Windows to do this?
Do you always hit CapsLock when you mean to hit Tab? I do and it is frustrating.
I do on my netbook, and since I use it in the library at school I don’t have the sound enabled to tell me when I’ve done so.
The sharpkeys freeware is reputable. There are other apps , all sort of student programmer -level apps that work as well.
Get a spray bottle and keep water in it. Every time you accidentily hit Caps Lock, spray yourself with water. For every day that you don’t hit Caps Lock by accident, give yourself a hand massage. If the problem persists, seek professional attention.
Yes. You can do it by editing the Registry. Website with details
I haven’t tried these hacks so can’t vouch they work. As always back up the registry before you mess with it.
Thanks.

I’ve switched the caps lock on both my computers. Make the caps lock something more awesome!
