Should I take the job?
I’m a 2nd year student living on residence, and I applied to the student government job bank that 70,000 students apply to. I got an email back saying that there’s an opening as a Human Resources trainee for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. It is a very boring job, but in Canada, government employment pays very well, with many perks.
It’s 25 hours per week, and I’m second year, so my schedule is not that bad. The location is not bad, but I’d have to take a train one stop then a 10–15 minute bus ride.
I’m still debating taking the job, because I’m not sure if it’s too many hours. Suggestions, anyone?
