Each of the few times I’ve had it, I’ve picked up on a different flavor and all of them appear on that list (hadn’t seen it until now.) I think distinguishing them must be dependent on your taste sensitivity, the stage and temperature of the drink, and any other food you might have eaten recently. I’d be interested in knowing why they decided to go that route though.
I vaguely recall hearing that Dr. Pepper was invented when Charles Alderton mixed together every single flavor that he had in the soda fountain. In any case, the flavor is good and still sells well, although we no longer ask anyone to “shoot me a Waco.”
