Why do I feel 'drained' after a bad argument?

I was just fighting with my brother and now I feel horrible. It’s not guilt, either. I’ve heard that the stomach oozes blood in stressful times… My stomach is churning and my head feels really heavy. What happened?

imho-we weren’t made to fight

Stress, hormones; adrenalin takes it’s toll.

JLeslie's avatar

@oratio is right adrenalin and other hormones related to fight or flight.

Okay. Maybe I’m just getting sick.

JLeslie's avatar

LMFAO! That’s hysterical.

… How?

JLeslie's avatar

How is it funny?

troubleinharlem's avatar

Yes.
I missed the joke.

Unless I misunderstood, we are looking for some biological reason to explain why people feel drained after a bad argument and really you have some sort of flu? Not that I think it is funny that you are sick, just that the original question seems irrelevant now. Did I misunderstand?

@troubleinharlem I found it funny too. Hope you are feeling better soon.

@JLeslie I got it right away, it is funny

=/ Sorry for wasting your time, then.

@troubleinharlem It’s not funny at your expense, T.

JLeslie's avatar

@troubleinharlem Yes, we are not laughing at you. It was simply funny. Not a waste of time. Feel better :).

Blood pressure skyrockets during an argument.
Stomache acids are produced.
Afterwards, you feel nauseous and your head hurts.
Next time, fight with a girl.

Do you feel like this every time you have an argument with someone?

@Supacase read the thread, the answers are just one-liners, it will be quick.
