Why doesnt fluther connect to Skype as one of their instant messangers?

pretty straight forward… I’m just curios, thats all

Not sure exactly, but I tend think of AIM and other text based instant messaging services as sort of “impersonal” compared to Skype, which (to me) is more of a service for people that you have already established friendships with.
