Are veggies that have been in the fridge a week too old to cook?
I have fresh mushrooms and green peppers that I put in my fridge after using half of them to go with a meal last Tuesday. Now I live at school but I got sick (not from veggies) last Friday and came back this Tuesday. I want to use the rest of the peppers and mushrooms in spaghetti but I’m not sure if they’re still good. They were a little mushy but I’m frying them and then putting them in the sauce. Is this ok or are they too old?
