Turns out that the night before I left LA some vegetable oil in the garbage I was taking out left a long incriminating trail from my apartment to the garbage chute. (the whole path is exterior).

It’s been nearly a month since then, and judging from the call by my property manager, the normal water washing must not have helped.

Am I screwed?
