I think that if someone I knew stumbeld across Fluther they would figure me out. Also, if I met someone new and told them I’m on Fluther, they could get nearly my whole life story. I am not ashamed of anything I’ve shared here… and that’s been practically everything. I suppose an industrious and resourceful stalker might be able to dig up more… but then again, that’s probably true of nearly everyone.

You can change your privacy settings on fluther to stop displaying the list of all your answers on your external profile to anyone ,or anyone outside of your Fluther. That doesn’t mean a stalker can’t use Google or an insane amount of time browsing through questions though. Especially if you’re username is the same on other sites like facebook (or have your Fluther linked to Facebook), it’s very easy to find out stuff about you, where you live, etcetera. Even though I only use this username on this site, some of you may already have information about me that could be used to get me on the phone within mere minutes, you just have to know what to look for (that’s not an award challenge, btw).

Having my own ugly face as an avatar, would give it away pretty fast. If I change it back to a default avatar, there would definitely be a couple of people that would recognize a story or two (not all my friends are imaginary :p). For now, I’m not that worried about my privacy, I’ve only seen a handful of people that even live in the same country as me, I doubt my neighbor is going to be one of them.

It wouldn’t matter much. If anyone would be interested in my thoughts and life, I’m glad. If I didn’t want people to know, I wouldn’t post it.

I have another account to ask embarrassing stuff. I use this one to ask about soft-core porn and if pissing on my houseplant is bad for it.

If my picture and name weren’t enough, a few of my questions and the answers in them give away A LOT. Oh well.

I think an observant person would have no problem figuring out pretty close to who I am, or at least a lot about me. I lay it all out there for all to see.
I tend to pee out the back where I want to kill the ivy with the salt and phosphorus in my urine. And hopefully to keep the Deer at bay.

Since my user name is my real name, and I have a picture up, they would know it was me. A few might be surprised by a few things, but for the most part nothing would surprise them.

I’ve probably revealed more about myself on this site than I have on others, but it would still be hard to learn a lot about me.

Some of my posts have included details very specific to me. Taken individually, they might not mean much, but if someone were to look at them all together, they’d have a fairly complete picture of me. Acquaintances might not realize it is me, but I definitely have some friends and family members who would instantly recognize my true identity.

However, I’m the most internet-addicted of anyone I know by far, so the chances of this are pretty low. I’ve even mentioned Fluther by name to several people, but I doubt any of them have ever checked it out.

Only my chauffeur (lol) knows who I am online (mainly this site), if any other friends/family members stumble onto this site they most likely won’t know who I am.
