Why am I thirsty after I've eaten a pizza (be it a spicy one or not)?

It’s the salt in the dough, cheese and whatever the other potential toppings may be.

Because Pizza has a high sodium content…its the salt

And it has the salt to encourage you to buy huge sugary carbonated drinks at the very pizza parlor you got the pizza from.

It takes two parts water to digest one part food. Your body needs alot of water, and even more so when eating for digestion.

That’s why they say when you in an emergency situation in the wild, don’t even think about eating unless you have a good source of water first.

Lots of pizza ~ lots of salt and later, say 45 years, lots of edema and CAD! Yeah, I’m SURE of it!
