Why is it funnier when some people pass gas than when others do?
I know its natural bla bla bla but it is also quite funny when you live in a culture that pretends one doesnt do that – and certanally not in public!
The other day at work we were having a shared meal and this really staunch guy let rip rather loudly (not just a little one it was quite the belter) and the room had gone silent just before – not for any good reason and then after the fart echoed throughout the room the silence just kind of went on too long and it was uncomfortable!!! He wasnt the kind of guy you would make a joke about it with so everyone just sort of stopped and he got up and left the room!! It was really odd!! It got me wondering what the worst passing wind situation would be!! Oh yea I was being interviewed by a nurse once who got the farts and she said ooops I think I had better go to the toilet. What do you say to that?! Yep ok. Sure you go I will sit here and wait – and try to breathe through my mouth for a bit.
