I have real hard water. Water softeners didn’t work. I have even tried sandpaper. Don’t Say Muriatic Acid, Ive tried it and it just makes a mess. I have tried every product I can find. There’s got to be some Old fashioned home remedy for this.

I could swear that I’ve heard somewhere that vinegar was good for removing calcium buildup.

With CLR or some kind of non abrasive, yet slightly acidic cleaner. Vinegar and Lemon Juice works well.

Vinegar. Mild abrasive cleaner made for glass stove-tops. If all else fails, CLR (toxic chemicals, but very effective).

White vinegar works better than any cleaner I’ve tried.

Typed too slow… Glad I could repeat what everyone else said!

Scrubbing Bubbles – it’s great great great! I hate cleaning without it

I use CLR they say it is safe for the enviornment..but I wonder…I have tried everything and CLR is really the only thing that has ever worked for me. Lemons do work but don’t lift the stain completly…The magic eraser works too…but you have to use A LOT of them…something I use AFTER i get the stain off?? Rain-X the stuff you use for your car windshield?? It workd wonders in preventing build up..I use it once a week… good luck.

Vinegar and alot of elbow grease. If this does not work you may want to use a little C-4!

I use an industrial strength citric acid bathroom cleaner..

CLR works but I hate the smell, so I hope ou can air out the area while you use it. Spray it and let it sit for several minutes, don’t waste your time scrubbing, let the chemical do the work. It is possible it is soap scum, which the CLR will dissolve also, but Scrub Free (not to be confused with Soft Scrub) works well also and does not smell as bad.

If you want a more natural product I find the Green Works bathroom cleaner by Clorox works pretty well.

When spray & leave it stuff just doesn’t cut it, I turn to the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It works especially great on glass shower doors.
