People die, we grieve, and then we forget.

We die, our loved ones grieve and then they forget—does this bother you more?

I do not forget those in my life who who went to the other side of life….

I keep them alive in my heart, soul, and mind….. all of the time .

However; IF anyone wishes to forget me; that is their decesion and does not bother me a bit .

I never forget the ones I have grieved for.
If it makes life easier for my loved ones to forget me, then so be it. I wouldn’t want to be a burden on them.

No @GeneH – The old AB is dead so you upgraded :) It is all good!

I would miss them- but I would not expect them to miss me or care if they forgot me.

@GeneH Yes, Fluther is Q&A heaven. Welcome! ;D

It doesn’t bother me that people are going to forget me. Life is too important to spend it grieving.

When I’m dead, I won’t know if they remembered me or not. It’s not an issue on my list of things to worry about.

I do not forget the people who have been a part of my life. I would prefer that people forget about me when I am gone.

I don’t forget people who make an impact in my life. Everyone else qualifies as vapor in the wind. By this same logic, if I am forgotten, I didn’t make enough of an impact and assume the mist. Can’t complain, it was my fault.
