The pam is fine and so is the butter, just use lightly.

Butter will be fine.

Some corn, peanut or canola oil on a paper towel…

Yep, Pam is fine. Or if you used sticks of butter or margarine in the cookie recipe, you can use the inside if the wrapper to rub down the cookie sheet. @pdworkin ‘s paper towel would be good too.

Personally, I would use a thin layer of butter.

In a pinch,,,do you have any KY-Jelly or maybe do you have any teenagers with bad complexions in your neighborhood ? j/k
Pam works great and you’ll save on calories.

If I don’t have Crisco or Pam, I put a little vegetable oil on a paper towel and rub it around the cookie sheet.

@Pretty_Lilly What would a teenager with a bad complexion do???

Pretty_Lilly's avatar

@King_of_Sexytown They usually have greasy faces!!!!

King_of_Sexytown's avatar

@Pretty_Lilly That would be a weird tasting cookie.

pam or butter. the amount of pam on the sheet (and even less on the cookie) is such a tiny amount it does not affect cookie taste.
