Now that it's been more than a week, how many former AnswerBaggers have completely left the site and are now full-time over here?

I’m just curious of how many people decided to stay and not just come over out of spite. I haven’t even checked my AB account since.

I keep checking my AB account, although mostly to keep in touch with friends that are still there. Not motivated to do much else down there.
I didn’t come here outta spite, mostly because I went all sheep and followed everyone else here, but I ended up liking it. Well what do you know.

@therookie
You don’t look at what you are typing as you type it? How can you accidently do that?

I had been checking back to see how things are going at Answerbag… but when I saw how some are trashing those who chose to seek “greener pastures” ... I’ve decided not to return to AB. I’m hoping I can get the hang of Fluther and call it “home” now.

I go to answerbag, fluther, askville, yedda, blurtit, and a few others, don’t really have a home!! I go all over the place, like to check them all! Many good QnA sites around..

I consider myself a dual citizen, so I still visit AB. But my heart sinks every time, because the threads are positively lifeless. Unanswered questions used to be few and far between, but now there are tons of them. It is sad to watch.

I don’t know if I’ve left AB for good. I am definitely enjoying myself here in The Collective. I like the questions and love answering them. I like the silly awards you get here.

My favorite friend on AB is having difficulty adjusting here, but I’ll wait and see what happens with him. If he chooses to remain on AB, then I’ll have to maintain accounts on both sites.

There’s a lot of good here on Fluther. So far, I like it.

@jackm
it is easy,
I share the computer with others who use the caps/ larger fronts because of their eyesight. and I do not always change it back because I am use to type and the fronts as well.

I haven’t logged into AB since clearing up a few last-minute details last week and am now a full-timer here.

I like the answers on this site. The people seem to know what they’re talking about, and you always get an answer for something. AB was just a bunch of garbage, I always had to go to Y!A to get intelligent responses.

@LeopardGecko When a place that has questions like this is better than the new and “improved” AB, that should tell you something.
(Whether it’s about the quality of the sites and/or about the youth today is a question I will leave to the philosophers.)

It looks like I’m here full time. I still drop by to check for any activity on my old AB account and to check on old friends, but I do not log in or actively use AB anymore. They screwed the pooch.

Freedom_Issues's avatar

I have gone on Fluther everyday since a week ago last Saturday, and maybe have gone on AB 3 times.

I’m done with Answerbag. Not sure if I’m a good fit at Fluther; only time will tell.

i agree with lonelydragon. its like having two cars and one is slowly going downhill and i am losing interest in it. i still have my Answerbag account, but now i feel out of place when i visit the site. guess i am here to stay. john

I’ve peeked in.

So many questions
with zero replies
makes the place looks like
a ghost town.

A few stalwart ABers fight what seems to be
a hopeless battle to return things
the way they were.

Or at least close to it.
(It’s really very depressing.)

Am I here for good?

Hard to drive forward
if all you can see is the rear view mirror.

It was nice while it lasted.

I left AB because it wasn’t user friendly any more, and the powers that be just weren’t interested! I was invited by a friend to join Fluther and i was very happy to finfd a site that was welcoming, had mamy MANY friendly people who use the site, user friendly and i felt right at home here and i just love those little awards you get i think they’re sweet .

Every time I log on AB it feels like the ghost of AB. Rosie and Firebrand usually answer me. I miss them but the site is dead. If it came back I would participate in both sites . It will not come back. It is mainly about commercials now. No one is ever on.
Rosie tried to lecture me about abandoning the site. I like her but she is deluding herself.
AB is not worth my time the way it is .
I am here because you all make me smile. The way you did on AB. I have also met other interesting people on here.
