Broad. I love laughing, though I don’t like those “Funniest Home Video” shows; all they show are people getting hurt and/or fat people doing something stupid. Humor is a huge part of my life.
Variable, but often a bit sarcastic and sometimes dry. Occasionally it goes over peoples head due to obscure references like geek-humor or something before someone’s time (I’m not elderly, but I remember when Michael Jackson was still black) which means sometimes a witticism of mine falls flat.
I am also prone to (occasionally racy or obscene) one-liners if you are stupid enough to slow-pitch something right over the plate… or if I’m just feeling punchy or caffeinated.
@loser I mean far left field.
Or as my profile says..
After I was born, they broke the mold. They also stopped production, re-tooled the line and fired everyone in quality control.
@gailcalled Actually I am very modest..I am the most modest person I know. When it comes to being modest I don’t know anyone who is better at it than I am! ;^)
My sense of humour is very dry, somewhat sarcastic once in a while. I don’t mean to offend, I just sometimes do. Humour isn’t very big in my life, but I actively look for at least one thing each day to laugh about, be it for something the cats did, a television show, something someone wrote, etc.
It’s hard to pinpoint what I laugh at. I can find the strangest thing funny and the funniest thing strange. But what makes me laugh the most is my cats. I find 99% of everything they do adorable and funny.
Usually it’s very sarcastic. I’m now at the stage where almost everything I say in conversation is slightly sarcastic. It’s a real problem when I talk to one of those people who doesn’t understand sarcasm.
