I have an old wedgewood stove/oven. My pilot light went out in the oven. Stove still works. I tried lighting the area in the bottom drawer -below the oven (where I keep my pans) and it didn’t light – so I guess that’s not the right place. Suggestions?

Sometimes old stoves have a hole in the oven floor to light the pilot.
There are probably lots of holes, but this one would be much bigger than all the others. A long fireplace match or long butane lighter might be needed.

Also, there will be a thin gas line to the pilot, maybe you can find that and trace it to the gas jet. It will probably be surprising thin, maybe 1/8”, and it looks like you could bend it by hand (and you can so be careful!).

Hope that helps, good luck!
