IPod Rock Band on 1st Generation iPod Touch?

I’m tempted to purchase Rock Band for my 1st generation iPod Touch. Will it work properly and not lag and get choppy?

As long as you have the 3.0 update, then I would assume that it runs fine without lags. As far as I know, it says that it is compatible with all ipod touches. So I think it would be safe to get it.
