Hitting tab doesn’t work; I open the program and all that shows up is a blank page… mocking me. I can’t do anything! Can anyone help?

Can you post a screenshot?

And are you the one that was having problems with this yesterday?

Window >> Workspace >> Essentials

or pick individual panels under Windows >>

There should be a “default workspace” option where wenn said

I’m guess you closed all the panels and accidentally saved this as your default workspace.

You can just open individual panels under windows also..

Orrrrrrr you where maybe working on a dual monitor or a diff setting and your panels are off screen? (but I believe Illustrator would reset it…)

If pressing tab doesn’t work try pressing f10

I’ll go with @wenn; Window->Workspace->Essentials.
Or try other workspaces and keep one that best suits you. In Window (menu), you can alternately open individual panels like color, pathfinder, etc.

@johnpowell I’m not; I wasn’t sure if that person was asking about the same thing; plus they only got one response, which didn’t solve the problem.

Here’s a screenshot. (edit: scroll down to the bottom and the first picture in the row is it. Sorry.)

And F10 just mutes my volume.

I’m not really sure what you mean by Workspace in the Window drop down menu (see screenshot). It isn’t there.

Try hitting “F” a couple of times

@toomuchcoffee911 – The F10 was way off. My mistake.

I have a screen shot of the Window>workspace they mean pm me an email I and I can send it to you.
