As they say… death and taxes. And to that I can add, I know it’s the first day of a New Year and that I’m feeling happy and hopeful for the coming year.
@Sarcasm: And then you realize that by knowing something for certain, your first premise (that you don’t know anything for certain) is invalid, so you really don’t know anything at all! :D
Ultimately, no. As humans, we can’t discern the nature of reality with a high level of certainty. Without being able to do that, there is nothing that is not potentially deceiving to our perceptions, not even our memories.
@ChazMaz, No, you can’t. You cannot prove the nature of reality any more than anyone else, no matter how you may choose to fool yourself. Conveyance aside. :-)
What you are saying is that you can, but you just cannot communicate it. That’s extremely lame.
“What you are saying is that you can, but you just cannot communicate it. That’s extremely lame.”
Lame to you. Because you want what I have. Otherwise it would not matter to you.
Sorry if what I have I can’t give to you. You will have to get it on your own. :-)
