Whats the best way to reduce latency(sp?) on a lap top getting sent to an hdtv?

i have my mac book pro hooked up to my new samsung flatscreen and i get this odd delay issue. does anyone know how this could be fixed???

You can try lowering the resolution of the video you are transfering to the tv. If this works then it is a 3d hardware innability of the mac. If it doesn’t then it is propably a software issue. In the second case try a linux live cd on your mac and see what latency you get
