What is the metric equivalent for a machine bolt rated an S.A.E grade 8?

I’m changing the brakes in my 99 nissan and need to replace the bolts, but I’m nervous as to what class of bolt I should get. Everyone says automotive is grade 8, but that’s S.A.E, not metric. So what is the Grade 8 equivalent in metric. What class?

A grade 8 SAE is equivalent to a metric grade 10.9 according to this chart
