I feel the same way, could that somehow be considered sexist?
We are biologically programmed to want to keep women safe as they are more important for reproduction than men are. Protecting women would be a trait that I think would be highly favored by natural selection.

I don’t like seeing terrible things at all

I love women too much to see them hurt or hurt one. Yes there are vile bitches that I’d like to see get beat up by another woman, but seeing a man pummel a woman I don’t even want to think about.

I abhor most types of violence.

Violence against those who are physically weaker because of youth or less developed musculature are unacceptable.

Violence in sport between equally matched voluntary opponents is tolerable but not something I value.

Most violence is justified by ignorance, blind hatred or the desire for power over others for its own sake. I can’t tolerate these.

Violence that truly serves to protect those you care about from actually attacks from a specific aggressor is justifiable if the response is designed to stop violence rather than to provoke or sustain violence.

Depends on the woman. I’ve met women in my life more vicious and terrible than any other creature on earth. And the worst part is, they do it with a smile. XD

I definitely would prefer seeing the terrible things happen to men than to see them happen to a woman.

@Blackberry Vile bitches… haha! I always think about this topic when I watch Titanic. That scene when Kathy Bates is trying to get the boats to go back for the men gets me every time. She says something like “those are our men out there” and everyone just stares at her blankly and then the crewman tells her to shut the hole in her face. Sucks to be a man sometimes.

I agree. I usually turn off scenes in movies that show violence to women. I can’t understand how men could do such things. I do however like a good chick fight, especially when they are both drunk.

Both is upsetting. But there could be some part related to a deeper instinct which differentiates to a certain degree between violence against woman versus against men.
